A WITNESS IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD (2m, 1f, 1 set).
Doris’ quiet life in the suburbs is interrupted by two evangelical missionaries Bob & Dawber on a sunny afternoon any day, in any town USA. Too polite to simply send them on their way, Doris invites the young men in to chat only to have the afternoon’s distraction rock her quiet neighborhood.
EVERYONE LAUGHS AT THE KING’S JOKES (4-5m, 1f, 1 set).
The courtyard festivities have been brought to an abrupt stop in this renaissance setting by the king himself. The room is cleared of all but a middle aged man who has attracted the king’s attention by NOT laughing at his royal jests. The man’s daughter does her best to intercede on her father’s behalf but will she win be able to win the king’s favor and free her father from the king’s wrath?
